ISO 11451-3:2024 - "Road vehicles - Vehicle test methods for electrical disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 3: On-board transmitter simulation" defines standardized methods to test the immunity of passenger cars and commercial vehicles to electromagnetic disturbances produced by on‑board transmitters and portable transmitters with integral antennas. The standard applies across vehicle propulsion types (spark-ignition, diesel, electric) and covers the frequency range 1.8 MHz to 6 GHz. It is the fourth edition and forms Part 3 of the ISO 11451 series on vehicle EMC testing.
