ISO 12628:2022 specifies test equipment and procedures for determining the dimensions, squareness and linearity of preformed pipe insulation used in building equipment and industrial installations. Applicable to thermal insulating products supplied as one piece, half sections or segments, this international standard defines how to measure circumference, outside and inside diameter, wall thickness, length, deviation from squareness and deviation from linearity to support consistent quality assessment and conformity checking.
