ISO 12683:2004 - "Mechanically deposited coatings of zinc - Specification and test methods" defines requirements and test methods for mechanically deposited zinc (mechanical zinc plating or matoplastie) applied to fabricated metal articles to provide corrosion protection. The standard covers classification, pre‑treatment, inspection, sampling, rejection criteria and attestation of conformity, plus informative and normative annexes on process details and zinc powder specification.
