ISO 12952-2:2010 - Textiles - Assessment of the ignitability of bedding items - Part 2: Ignition source: match‑flame equivalent defines a laboratory test method for assessing how easily common bedding items ignite when exposed to a small open flame equivalent to a match. The standard applies to items normally placed on a mattress (mattress covers, underlays, sheets, blankets, electric blankets, duvets, pillows, pillowcases, incontinence pads, etc.) but excludes mattresses, bed bases and mattress pads.
