Overview
ISO 13443:1996 - "Natural gas - Standard reference conditions" specifies a single, internationally accepted set of reference conditions of temperature, pressure and humidity to be used when measuring and calculating natural-gas properties. The ISO standard reference (base) conditions are 288.15 K (15 °C) and 101.325 kPa for a real, dry gas. The standard reduces ambiguity in reporting volume, density and energy quantities and is intended especially for international custody transfer and cross-border trade.
