Overview

ISO 13535:2000 - Petroleum and natural gas industries: Drilling and production equipment - Hoisting equipment defines requirements for the design, manufacture and testing of lifting and hoisting equipment used in drilling and production operations. It covers a wide range of rig hoisting components - from sheaves and travelling blocks to elevators, swivels and powered subs - and establishes two product specification levels (PSL 1 and PSL 2) to reflect different degrees of technical requirement.
