ISO 14223-2:2010

Overview

ISO 14223-2:2010 - "Radiofrequency identification of animals - Advanced transponders - Part 2: Code and command structure" defines the communication layer between an RFID transceiver and an advanced transponder for animal identification. It is a direct extension of ISO 11785 and is fully backwards-compatible with ISO 11784/11785, enabling storage/retrieval of additional information, authentication and sensor data in addition to the unique animal identifier.
