Failure detection: Vibrational acceleration monitoring (accelerometer) on a mechanically amplified point; automatic shutoff threshold typically 2–3× the initial vibration level.

Results: Compute mean effective load using a Lundberg–Palmgren-based equation (p commonly taken as 3 for practical comparisons) and calculate maximum Hertzian stress for mechanical input assessment.
