ISO 15398:2012

Overview

ISO 15398:2012 specifies definitions and requirements for thermoplastic covers and frames for manholes and inspection chambers used in non-traffic areas. It applies to products manufactured from unplasticized PVC (PVC‑U), polypropylene (PP), polypropylene with mineral modifier (PP‑MD) and polyethylene (PE). Products covered are rated up to B 125 and are intended for light vehicular access and pedestrian areas (including indoor/outdoor use and swimming-pool areas) but are not for carriageways of trafficked roads.
