Overview

ISO 16124:2015 - Steel wire rod - Dimensions and tolerances specifies standardized dimensions, nominal sizes and dimensional tolerances for hot‑rolled steel wire rod (as defined in ISO 6929). The standard sets preferred nominal sizes, cross‑sectional areas and mass per unit length for common profiles (round, square, hexagonal and rectangular), and defines the tolerance classes used for production, inspection and purchase specifications.
