ISO 17607-5:2023 - "Steel structures - Execution of structural steelwork - Part 5: Welding" defines the general requirements for welding when executing structural steelwork, either as in-situ structures or as manufactured components, in conjunction with ISO 17607-1. It standardizes expectations for welding plans, processes, qualifications, execution, inspection and documentation to ensure safety, quality and interchangeability for projects built without a governing national/regional code.
