ISO 18334:2010

Overview

ISO 18334:2010 provides internationally recognized guidance on minimum quality criteria for the assembly of new wooden pallets. The standard focuses on factors that affect pallet performance - component placement accuracy, selection and arrangement of fasteners, rivet/clinching practice, and placement of components whose characteristics influence how a pallet performs in handling and transport. The standard does not address safety issues associated with assembly.
