ISO 1835:2018

Overview

ISO 1835:2018 specifies requirements for round steel short link sling chains - Grade 4, stainless steel used for lifting purposes. It covers medium-tolerance sling chains with nominal diameters from 4 mm to 22 mm, electrically welded, solution-annealed and tested. Chains conforming to ISO 1835:2018 are intended primarily for chain slings of grade 4 stainless steel or other lifting applications and are suitable for service temperatures from −100 °C to +400 °C. The standard complements the general conditions of acceptance in ISO 1834.
