ISO 18629-14:2006 provides a description of the resource theories of ISO 18629, which defines elements needed for defining resources, resource roles, and resource sets.
Abstract
Overview
ISO 18629-14:2006 - part of the Process Specification Language (PSL) family - defines the resource theories used to represent resources in computer-interpretable manufacturing process descriptions. This part provides an axiomatized, semantic specification of core resource concepts: how resources and activities relate, how resource sets are described, and how (e.g., amounts, capacities) are modeled. is intended to improve interoperability of process models across MES, ERP and engineering tools by giving a formal lexicon and informal semantics for resource-related terminology.
