ISO 19232-1:2013 - Non-destructive testing (NDT) - Image quality of radiographs - Part 1 defines a device and method for determining the image quality value of radiographs using wire-type image quality indicators (IQIs). The standard covers the IQI design (19 wire series), designation, materials, marking, placement on the test object and the method for reading the image quality value on film or digital detectors.
