Overview
ISO 19593-1:2018 - Graphic technology - Use of PDF to associate processing steps and content data - Part 1: Processing steps for packaging and labels - defines a standardized method to store processing-steps data in PDF files. It specifies how non-printing PDF graphics objects and metadata that describe finishing and manufacturing steps (e.g., cutting, folding, glueing, Braille, printed white, varnish, dimensions and positions) can be embedded so they are interoperable across the packaging and label supply chain.
