ISO 19932-1:2013 - Equipment for crop protection - Knapsack sprayers - Part 1: Safety and environmental requirements - specifies the essential safety and environmental requirements and means of verification for the design and construction of knapsack sprayers carried on the operator’s back or shoulder. The standard applies to lever-operated, compression and engine/electric motor driven knapsack sprayers using hydraulic pressure atomisation with a nominal volume greater than 3 L (primarily for agriculture and horticulture). It excludes knapsack mistblowers (see ISO 28139) and machines manufactured before publication.
