ISO 2063-2:2017

Overview

ISO 2063-2:2017 defines requirements for the execution of corrosion protection systems applied by thermal spraying of zinc, aluminium and their alloys. It covers surface preparation, thermal-spray application, testing, post-treatments (for example sealing), documentation and on-site repair for metallic corrosion-protection coatings on steel components and structures. The standard applies to new fabrication in workshops, on-site application and repairs, and covers service temperatures between −50 °C and +200 °C. (Heat‑resistant aluminium coatings are excluded - see ISO 17834.)
