This document specifies the conformance test plans for the CXPI data link layer and the CXPI physical layer. It also specifies the conformance test plan for error detection. Additionally, this document describes the concept of conformance test plan operation.
Abstract
Overview
ISO 20794-7:2020 - part of the CXPI family - defines conformance test plans for the Clock eXtension Peripheral Interface (CXPI) used in road vehicles. The standard specifies how to verify conformance of the CXPI data link layer and the CXPI physical layer, including detailed test plans for error detection and a description of conformance test plan operation. It is intended to ensure reliable, interoperable CXPI implementations across automotive ECUs, transceivers and test systems.
