Overview
ISO 20910:2019 specifies the terms, general requirements and data structure for coding radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags. Focused on passive UHF RFID tyre applications, the standard standardizes how a tyre’s Unique Item Identifier (UII) is encoded (using SGTIN‑96) and stored in tag memory to enable global tyre identification, traceability and interoperability across supply chains and IT systems.
