Overview

ISO 21511:2018 - "Work breakdown structures for project and programme management" provides guidance on developing and using a work breakdown structure (WBS) across projects and programmes. Applicable to any organization (public or private), any sector and any size of project or programme, the standard defines relevant terms and concepts, explains WBS characteristics and composition, and describes relationships between WBS and other breakdown structures.
