ISO 23900-2:2015 specifies a method of determining the colouristic properties of a test pigment relative to a standard, and the ease of dispersion DHPVC-P of pigments from the differences in colour strength on dispersing colouring materials under various conditions in plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-P) compounds. The method is appropriate for use with organic and inorganic black and colour pigments and for pigment preparations.

ISO 23900-2:2015 specifies a laboratory method for assessing the colouristic properties and ease of dispersion of pigments and pigment preparations in plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC‑P) using a two‑roll mill. The standard measures how much colour strength increases when a pigment is subjected to higher shearing (two‑stage milling), and expresses dispersibility as a percentage increase in colour strength (ease of dispersion, DH_PVC‑P). It is applicable to organic and inorganic colour and black pigments and to pigment preparations.
