Overview
ISO 24263:2020 - "Footwear - Attachment strength of straps, trims and accessories" - specifies a test method to determine the attachment strength of footwear upper components joined to the sole: straps, trims, hooks and eyelets. The standard defines sampling, conditioning, test-piece preparation, apparatus requirements, test procedures and how to report results to quantify attachment strength in newton (N).
