Overview
ISO 2531:2009 - “Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for water applications” - is the international specification for manufacturing, testing and performance of ductile iron pipeline components used to convey water (including potable and raw water). Published as the sixth edition (2009), the standard covers components with socket, spigot or flanged ends, normally supplied with internal and external coatings, and applies to nominal sizes DN 40 to DN 2600.
