ISO 27668-2:2009 sets out the minimum quality requirements for gel ink ball pens and refills intended for documentary use. Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), this standard applies to both refillable and non-refillable gel ink pens and their refills when used for creating official documents that require durability, legibility, and resistance to alteration.
