ISO 29481-2:2025 - Building information models - Information delivery manual - Part 2: Interaction framework defines a methodology and digital format for describing, managing and executing interactions between actors across all life cycle stages of an asset. The standard establishes an interaction framework and associated files (schemas and project-specific messages) to enable secure, verifiable, traceable and high-quality digital IDM communication in BIM workflows and common data environments (CDEs).
