Abstract
Overview
ISO 3531-3:2022 - "Financial services - Financial information eXchange session layer - Part 3: FIX session layer test cases" defines a set of mandatory and optional conformity tests for the FIX session layer. Published by ISO and prepared by the FIX Trading Community, the standard is applicable to supported FIX session layer versions (4.2, 4.4, FIXT) unless otherwise indicated. It focuses on session-level behavior - ordered delivery, session initiation/resumption and fault recovery - rather than application-level business content.
