ISO 4301-3:2021 - "Cranes - Classification - Part 3: Tower cranes" defines a standardized classification system for tower cranes used in construction. This second edition (2021) replaces the 1993 edition and aligns the tower crane classification approach with ISO 4301‑1:2016. The standard covers three tower-crane types: erected from parts, self-erecting, and mobile self-erecting.
