ISO 4919:2012 - Carpets: Determination of tuft withdrawal force specifies a standardized laboratory method to measure the force required to pull tufts or loops from textile floor coverings. The method applies to all carpets with a cut pile or loop pile yarn structure and defines sampling, conditioning, apparatus, test procedure and reporting for reliable (tuft pull) data used in quality control and product specification.
