ISO 5231:2022 - Extended farm management information systems data interface (EFDI) - defines an extensible communication system concept and rules for adding new functionality to support specific agricultural use cases. EFDI standardizes messaging between farm management information systems (FMIS), machines, telemetry units and terminals by defining a layered architecture, message semantics, and transport-layer mappings.
