Abstract
Overview
ISO 5620-1:1992 specifies for filling connections used to supply drinking water tanks aboard ships. The standard covers the composition, designation and basic installation guidance for a complete ship piping filling connection intended for attachment to piping from another ship or a land distribution system. Its primary objective is to safeguard potable water tanks and supply piping from contamination by other fluids and to ensure interoperable, secure connections between ship and shore services.
