ISO 6085:2023

Overview

ISO 6085:2023 - "Building construction machinery and equipment - Self-loading mobile concrete mixers - Safety requirements and verification" sets out the general safety requirements and verification for self-loading mobile concrete mixers (as defined in ISO 18650-1:2021). The standard applies to rigid or articulated wheeled machines designed for front or rear loading and fitted with a swinging frame carrying the rotating drum and self-loading equipment (lift arms and bucket). It addresses hazards and hazardous situations when the machine is used as intended or under reasonably foreseeable misuse. Exclusions include machines primarily for earth moving, truck mixers, manufacture-phase hazards, public road operation rules, explosive atmospheres, and machines manufactured before publication.
