ISO 6115:1988 - "Shipbuilding - Trawl winches" defines requirements, characteristics and test criteria for single-drum and double-drum trawl winches used on fishing vessels. It covers winches driven by electric, electro‑hydraulic, hydraulic, diesel‑hydraulic or externally powered drives, and addresses design, control, safety, brakes, spooling and acceptance testing for deck-mounted trawl winches.
