ISO 6420:2016 - Hydrometry: Position fixing equipment for hydrometric boats specifies methods to determine the position of boats used in hydrometric work. It covers procedures using and conventional surveying relative to known bank points. The standard applies to both and traditional surveying techniques for tasks such as streamgauging, sediment sampling and morphological surveys of rivers, estuaries, lakes and reservoirs.
