Overview
ISO 6462:2011 - Face and shoulder milling cutters with indexable inserts - Dimensions specifies the standardized external and mounting dimensions for face and shoulder milling cutters that use indexable inserts. It defines cutter diameters, mounting interfaces, tolerances and dimensional tables to ensure interchangeability, safe handling and consistent designation of cutters used in milling operations. The standard covers common cutter sizes (from about 40 mm up to 500 mm) and three mounting styles.
