ISO 6472:2024 - Rubber compounding ingredients - Abbreviated terms (Sixth edition) defines clear, unambiguous abbreviated terms for commonly used rubber compounding ingredients of known, specific chemical composition. Prepared by ISO/TC 45, this edition updates the previous 2017 version by adding new ingredients and abbreviations and removing di‑tert‑butyl peroxide (DTBP) from Table 1. The document supplements trade names and trademarks by providing commonly used short forms, IUPAC names and CAS Registry Numbers (where available).
