Overview
ISO 6605:2017 - - specifies uniform, practical test methods for evaluating the performance of hoses and hose assemblies (hose plus attached fittings) used in hydraulic fluid power systems. The standard defines how to perform visual inspection and a suite of standard tests (dimensional checks, proof, change-in-length, burst, cold bend, cyclic endurance/impulse, leakage and adhesion) and references acceptance criteria as given in the relevant product specifications.
