ISO 7364:2016 specifies requirements and characteristics of ships' accommodation ladder winches provided with hydraulic, pneumatic, electric or manual drive. ISO 7364:2016 is applicable to the design and test of accommodation ladder winches. ISO 7364:2016 does not include requirements for the prime mover used to operate the winch.

Overview
ISO 7364:2016 is an international standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that specifies the essential requirements and characteristics for ships' accommodation ladder winches. These winches-integral components of deck machinery-are used for the safe hoisting and lowering of accommodation ladders on ships. ISO 7364:2016 covers hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, or manual drives and applies specifically to the design, construction, and testing of these winches. However, it does not include requirements for the prime mover that powers the winch.
