ISO 8009:2014 - Mechanical contraceptives - Reusable natural and silicone rubber contraceptive diaphragms - Requirements and tests specifies minimum for reusable diaphragms made from and intended for contraceptive use. It sets design, material, dimensional, mechanical and labelling criteria and defines sampling and acceptance procedures for referee testing. The standard excludes other vaginal barrier devices (e.g., cervical caps, sponges, sheaths).
