ISO 8042:1988 - "Shock and vibration measurements - Characteristics to be specified for seismic pick-ups" defines the information manufacturers should provide about electro‑mechanical (vibration sensors/accelerometers) whose electrical outputs are known functions of uniaxial, multiaxial or angular accelerations, velocities or displacements.
