ISO 8052:1990 - Mopeds - Direct current flasher units specifies the electrical characteristics and type‑test requirements for d.c. flasher units intended for mopeds with 6 V or 12 V electrical systems. This second edition (1990) cancels and replaces the 1984 edition and forms part of a family of vehicle lighting standards. The standard defines identification, working voltages for test conditions, required markings and the test procedures that confirm a flasher’s safe and reliable operation as a direction indicator and/or hazard warning device.
