ISO 8062-1:2007

Overview

ISO 8062-1:2007 is the first part of the ISO 8062 series for geometrical product specifications (GPS) of moulded parts. Its primary purpose is to establish a consistent vocabulary - terms and definitions - used when assigning dimensional and geometrical tolerances to parts produced by moulding processes. The standard covers moulded products such as castings, die forgings, injection-moulded parts, powder metallurgy parts, glass mouldings and rubber mouldings and defines language for features, form, tolerance types and related manufacturing elements (mould, die, cavity, core, etc.).
