Overview
ISO 8127-1:1989 defines the physical characteristics and basic test methods for A6 size microfilm jackets configured as a five‑channel jacket for 16 mm microfilm. It standardizes jacket geometry, channel arrangement, materials and acceptability criteria to ensure interchangeability and reliable handling in active micrographics systems (loaders, readers, duplicators and storage enclosures).
