This International Standard specifies the procedures for measuring the road performance of purely electrically propelled passenger cars and commercial vehicles of a maximum authorized total mass of 3 500 kg1_. ISO 8715:2001 - Electric road vehicles - Road operating characteristics defines standardized procedures to measure the road performance of purely electric passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (maximum authorized total mass 3 500 kg). The standard specifies how to evaluate such as , , , and , and includes provisions for chassis dynamometer calibration (Annex A).
