ISO 9047:2001 - Building construction - Jointing products - Determination of adhesion/cohesion properties of sealants at variable temperatures - specifies a laboratory method to evaluate the adhesion and cohesion behaviour of predominantly elastic sealants used in building joints when exposed to temperature cycling. The standard defines specimen preparation, conditioning, cyclic extension/compression at defined temperatures and amplitudes, and reporting requirements to assess loss of adhesion or cohesive failure.
