ISO 9444-1:2009 specifies the tolerances on dimensions and form for continuously hot-rolled stainless steel narrow strip in actual widths of less than 600 mm. It also applies to cut lengths taken from such strip.

ISO 9444-1:2009 specifies dimensional and form tolerances for continuously hot‑rolled stainless steel narrow strip (actual widths < 600 mm) and cut lengths taken from such strip. The standard defines what purchasers must specify, typical delivery conditions (as‑rolled U unless agreed), and the measurement methods used to verify compliance. It replaces earlier consolidated editions by splitting ISO 9444 into two parts (Part 1: narrow strip and cut lengths; Part 2: wide strip and sheet/plate).
