Specifies a method for the measurement of the concentrations of airborne vapours in the range from approx. 1 mg/m^3 to 1 000 mg/m^3 when sampling 10 litres of air. Annexes A, B and C form an integral part of this standard. Annex D is for information only.
Abstract
Overview
ISO 9486:1991 specifies a validated laboratory and field method for measuring in workplace air using a procedure. The method covers airborne vapour concentrations from approximately (when sampling ~10 litres of air) and is suitable for personal and fixed-location time‑weighted‑average monitoring. Annexes A, B and C are integral; Annex D is informative.
