BS EN 13892 ‑ 9 is the ninth part of the multi-series European standard which discusses tests for screed materials. Screed is a thin layer of material that is typically made from sharp sand, cement, and water. BS EN 13892 ‑ 9 specifies a method for determining the dimensional stability (i.e., the shrinkage and swelling) of cementitious screed, calcium sulfate screed, magnesite screed, and synthetic resin screed materials.
