What is BS EN 15544 – Dimensioning of tiled/mortared stoves about?

The Kachelgrundöfen/Putzgrundöfen (tiled/mortared stoves) are of individual one-off construction design. The tiled stove one off slow heat release appliance, which is adapted individually to local conditions and whose visible surface is predominantly made of tiles. BS EN 15544 is a European Standard that discusses the dimensioning of tiled/mortared stoves. The main objective of BS EN 15544 is to provide calculation methods that ensure tiled/mortared stoves meet the intended heat output requirement. BS EN 15544 specifies calculations for the dimensioning of tiled/mortared stoves based upon the required nominal heat output of the stove as declared by the producer.
