What is BS EN IEC 61820 ‑ 1 - Aeronautical ground lighting (AGL) at aerodromes about?
BS EN IEC 61820 is a series of standard that defines the requirements throughout the lifecycle of an Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) system including design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, decommissioning and disposal. BS EN IEC 61820 ‑ 1 is the first part of the multi-series that pertains to personnel and operational safety while focusing on AGL system design to maintain the lighting against any possible failure.
